Google’s virtual visiting card is Google’s new feature which focuses on millions of individual people, marketers, businessmen, prospective workers, self-employed people, freelancers who want to be noticed and help the world find them.

A virtual visiting card is an identity for all business people like entrepreneurs, freelancers, influencers, etc who can create their own profile in Google to get easily discovered. Google has named it as “people cards" and launched the feature in India. This feature currently supports English. This feature is not available yet on Desktop. You can create your presence on Google Search by creating a people card. 

Also, Google has embedded good security in this because there are chances that anyone can create a fake card. So any virtual visiting card profile which seems to be doubtful can be reported by the users to Google by using the feedback option.

Google has rolled out a new feature for India called People Card. A Google search feature that lets users create a virtual visiting card, highlight their existing website or social profile.

1. The image from your Google account

2. A description of yourself

3. A website link

4. Links to social profiles

5. Phone number

How to Create a virtual card on Google:

1. Open Chrome on Mobile.

2. On your mobile device, go to google.com.

3. Search 'Add me to search' on Chrome.

4. Click on the 'Get started' button.

5. Submit Your Details.

6. Verify your phone number.

7.  Save.

What you need:

1. An Android phone or tablet, or an iPhone or iPad.

2. A mobile browser or the Google Search App.

3. A personal Google Account.

4. Web & App Activity turned on.

Edit or Remove your Contact Info:

1. Go to google.com.

2. Make sure you're signed in to your Google Account.

3. Search for 'Edit my people's card'.

4. At the top right of your people card, tap Edit.

5. Edit your contact info. ...

6. At the bottom, tap Preview.

If you're satisfied with your card, tap Save.
