Bharat (India) is a country of 1.35 billion people, 1.35 billion dreams, and 1.35 billion mindsets. It's a country where people from all communities, let it be Hindu, Sikh, or Muslims all live in harmony, celebrating all the festivals with utmost zeal. There is no doubt that with this huge diversity, India is an amazing place to be. It is the second-most populous country, the seventh-largest country by area, and the most populous democracy in the world.
Considering that the world is more connected and people are better informed than at any time in history, it is somewhat amazing that certain areas of the world are still surrounded by an air of mystery, myth, and misunderstanding.

India is a group of Country
India has a wide range of ethnic and cultural diversity. India a land of many states, cultures, languages, food, dress, etc. but stands united because all its people are Indians. India is a Hindu State
India is a country where more Muslims than many Islamic countries reside. India is a secular country. Every Indian is equal irrespective of religion. You can find people hailing from any religion reaching topmost positions in the country. Ex - APJ Abdul Kalam a renowned scientist (ISRO and DRDO), Bharat Ratna awardee and was the President for the Republic of India from 2002 to 2007. Although India has a Hindu majority, it still has the most number of mosques than any other country in the world.
Indians are Vegetarians
India has the largest population of vegetarians in the world. No wonder you will find special veg. the menu at a KFC outlet. In northern and western areas, meals are taken with flatbreads (roti). These bread are replaced by rice (Chawal) in the east and south. Yogurt (Dahi) also may be eaten. Meals often end with a variety of sweets or paan, betel nut served with lime and wrapped in a betel leaf. Surveys cited by FAO and USDA estimate 40% of the Indian population as being vegetarian. These surveys indicate that even Indians who do eat meat, do so infrequently, with less than 30% consuming it regularly, although the reasons are mainly cultural.
India is too Hot

Cricket is the National Game
Hockey is the national game in India. Chess, dice, and card-playing are old favorites. Cricket is also one of the most favorite games and India won Worldcup in cricket. Traditional sports include cockfighting, camel racing, and wrestling. Hunting was a favorite sport and kabaddi (team wrestling) remains popular. Indians enthusiastically play or watch cricket and field hockey. Here is another fact! India has won all 5 men's Kabaddi World Cups held till now and has been undefeated throughout these tournaments. The Indian women's team has also won all Kabaddi World Cups held to date.
Indian women do not work or study
Early Indian tradition held that women would become homemakers after marriage. Now that is not the case. Female literacy is at an all-time high and the scores of female students are generally higher than their male counterparts. Indian women are found working as lawyers, journalists, doctors, and engineers. It should also be noted that several cultures and regions in India are matriarchs.
The Taj Mahal is the only tourist attraction
The Taj Mahal is without a doubt the most recognizable landmark in India. Bharat with thousands of years of history which is responsible for wonderful temples, forts, and palaces, along with wonderful beaches and mountainous regions.
